There are many people who live a dual life. Think of the office worker by day who is a guitarist in a band at night, or the quiet accountant who turns in to a Hells Angel biker at the weekend.
There are perhaps even more people who would love to live a dual life and wish they could be a glamorous super star with thousands of screaming fans.
Hannah Montana, played by Miley Cyrus, is one of these people who gets to experience a normal life as Miley and then becomes a superstar and lives the glamorous life as Hannah. It's the dream of many a person to have the benefits of this dual life.
Of course, the is the crux of the story. How Miley juggled her normal life and her life as Hannah Montana. In fact, it results in many a hilarious situation as she tries to avoid people in either life finding out about her other life.
The comedy continues when some of Miley's closest friends also adopt dual lives and as well as being her friends as Miley, are also the friends of her superstar alter ego.
This juggling of the lives are particularly amusing, especially when you see Miley dating someone who wants to take her to a Hannah Montana concert. Admittedly you do sit there and think the people in the show are dumb not to work out her secret identity, but it is very amusing watching the show and how she avoids her secret being found out.
I do think that many of us would love to life a life like Miley Stewart in this show. Being a superstar would be fun, but not being able to do anything without bodyguards or press photographers everywhere would soon get tiring. Being able to take your wig off and live a normal life must be something many of the rich and famous wish they could do.
Like every teenage girl, Miley has her fair share of issues that she needs to resolve in both her lives. Having her father (played by real life dad Billy Ray Cyrus) there to guide her is really beneficial to her. He provides some useful advice which many of the viewers would also find useful to them.
All in all, the dual life of Hannah and Miley is one that many a teenage girl wishes they could live. Miley has become a role model for many of today's children and this show is one that is moralistic and clean, which is great. Being amusing and appealing to many different age groups, this is a show that parents can enjoy with their children.
